Uptodown Android is an alternative app store for Android devices. To install it, you must download it through a browser as opposed to the Google Play Store. Uptodown Android features a variety of apps you would not be able to find in the regular app store.

An advantage of installing Uptodown Android is that you can get apps on your Android device without the use of a Google account. You can get apps from Uptodown Android without providing any sort of payment information or even an email address. There are no limitations on what apps you can or cannot get based on location, as well.

The app store also allows you to access different versions of apps, so if an older version is more compatible with your device, you can get that version instead of the newest one. Uptodown Android also allows you to roll back to a previous version of an app if you are not happy with your current version.
